Itinerary

Morning flight Upon Arrival at International St Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meet your profesional Guide then directly tour visit at Rammang-Rammang in Maros Regency. have a short explore by taking a boat trip from River Pute to Rammang-Rammang, visiting some beautiful caves around the limestone hills area with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. We will also have a short time to explore the black karst stone forest trying to catch good photos of the karst stones with various unique formations. After enough time, drive through to the center of Makassar for overnight,dinner. by own
After bfreakfast we will take you out on the picturesque drive to Toraja with approx 8-9 hours driving along the Buginese villages with their typical houses. We will stop for a photo-taking during the trip. Lunch will be served in KUPA BEACH restaurant. In the afternoon stop on the Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Pick up at Hotel, a full day exploring Tana Toraja. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Later continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Nonongan. Onwards to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch break in a local restaurant in Rantepao. Onwards to Kete Kesu with a stop in Karuaya to enjoy the beautiful and typical Toraja panorama, From here we will continue with a short walk to Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Toraja villages. Here you still find two rows of the original village houses, the traditional ancestral houses of the Toraja people, Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarvings. Pick up at Hotel, we will bring you to visit Pallawa & Sa’dan To’baranna, local Torajan villages known as the weaving center of Rantepao. Afterwards drive up and stop over in Tinimbayo where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields. Then to a burial cave of Lokomata. From Lokomata, transfer to local restaurant for having lunch with rice field view. After lunch continuing our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking down around 2-3 hours to Lempo village, enjoy the beautiful panorama and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style (interaction with local life, see coffee plantation, bamboo forest and rice terrace). Then we will visit Bori village to see the stone menhir before back to the hotel for overnight
After breakfast, chek out hotel transfer to Toraja Airport / Palopo Airport to catch flight to Makassar. Or you can back to makassar by land
